Believe it or not: It took Alexandra only a few days until she had fallen in love with camping. She could bring all clothes, food and gimmicks for the kids in the caravan to Italy. Living was very relaxed and it was easy for us to take care for Fiona and Matthias. We really had lots of fun at our vacation trip to Italy. Robert was happy when Alexandra called it a super vacation.

There was a golf club next to the camping ground. It was a nice course and Robert even played there once. Unfortunately we don't have a picture of it. Robert left some balls at the course as an evidence. However, it was too humid for old Robert. He just preferred playing with his kids in the water.
The beach and the swimming pool were next to our caravan and every night at 8:30 p.m. started the Mini Club its show for the young kids. Fiona and Matthias were delighted.

The swimming pool for the kids had a little slide. As soon as Fiona saw it she was crazy to check it out. However, her enthusiasm was damped by the cold water. The pool was not heated. Matthias didn't care neither about the slide nor the temperature. He was just happy to float around.

Not only offered the pool lots of fun. The beach awaited Matthias and Fiona with sand and a shallow water. Fiona always cooked some coffee for us or gave Matthias a mud pack. She wasn't too keen to check out the water. As soon as she had realized there were little crabs and crawfishes living in there she was afraid of getting pinched. By the way: Alexandra was frightened too.

The best part for Fiona was probably the Mini Club. There was a group of young holiday entertainers. Every night they played the same songs in the same row and danced the same dances with the same kids. Fiona loved it. Matthias watched it. The parents endured it.
As soon as the sun went down Fiona commanded: "I want to go to the music!" Well, for us it was fun too. It was so amusing watching her having a great time. She was marveling, clapping, dancing, smiling, and laughing all night long. It was just wonderful.
