Where did we go?
As soon as Alexandra was convinced to give it a try we had to find a
destination. First we had to see to which country we could go. Second, we had
to choose a camping ground.
We considered Scandinavia, North Germany, The Netherlands, or Spain and went
finally to Italy on August, 10th. Close to Trieste there is a beautiful city called Grado
which is easy to reach from Munich. We visited the camping ground
Tenuta
Primero. Besides its location right at the beach it offers various
facilities for its guests. There are swimming pools, restaurants, sport fields,
and a golf course right across the street.
Food and wine
At the very beginning Alexandra thought we would always eat at restaurants
during our stay. We even bought sometimes pizza or went to some fancy
restaurant. However, Alexandra understood very fast that we could cook
delicious food within our kitchenette. Our private terrace was much more
casual than any restaurant and offered enough space for our kids to play
around. We had salads, pasta and even steak. Our camping stove worked really
well. Besides, we had a ideal distribution of tasks. Robert had to cook,
Alexandra had to wash the dishes.
